PG tips makes friends with the Rainforest Alliance
The nation’s favourite tea1, PG tips, has teamed up with the Rainforest Alliance as part of Unilever’s campaign to pioneer the sustainable production of tea throughout the world.
- 61% of tea drinkers agree that tea should be ethically sourced 2
- 72% of consumers agree that ‘it is worth paying extra for products that are ethically produced or kinder to the environment.’ 3
To help you tell your customers, we will be providing specially designed point of sale material, featuring the PG monkey and will include posters, machine stickers, decals and wobblers. Over the coming months our range of PG tips will feature new packaging, communicating the Rainforest Alliance and we will be running a promotion through May to win a PG tips mug with two cases of PG products bought.
