Aimia Foods is a £60 million privately owned food and beverages manufacturer. We employ 250 staff working across three adjacent sites in the North West of England, which total 225,000 sq ft. Our core strengths lie in the manufacturing, sales and marketing of Aimia-owned and third party licensed beverage brands, across all sectors of the UK market – Retail, Foodservice, Cash & Carry and Vending. A number of our licensed brands are also exported to Europe, the Middle East and Australasia, through an established distributor network.
Aimia also provides specialist Outsourcing services to Blue Chip clients who choose to outsource all or part of their manufacturing activity, in order to allow greater focus on their core business. This has led to the creation of a number of bespoke production facilities, either within the main Penny Lane site or as separate satellite units for FTSE 100, NYSE and NASDAQ listed clients. Aimia offers a full added value service offering to its partners, which includes project management, risk management, product innovation, packaging development, procurement, co-manufacturing, packing and distribution.
Aimia is passionate about the Quality of its products and we are delighted to be credited as the first and only food manufacturer in the UK to hold a BRC Grade A*, the internationally recognised benchmark for quality standards. We are also proud to have held the ‘Investors In People’ accreditation for the past 14 years, demonstrating our continued commitment to the people who are at the heart of our business. Aimia was recognised as a Top 100 Employer by The Guardian Newspapers in 2009 and has been an award winning business for over 25 years.

We comply and exceed all regulatory requirements in respect of wastage, pollution and are currently working towards being a zero to landfill site.
We monitor for continuous improvement of our environmental performance and conserve resources through energy efficiency and minimising waste where possible by re-use, recycling and recovery. For example our manufacturing lines now recover all waste materials, which are separated by material type ready for recovery.
Wherever practicable we use recycled material in packaging, mark packaging for easy separation of recyclable elements and our corporate literature and sales materials are produced on paper certified as originating from sustainable sources (FSC).
Our product range includes many fair and ethically sourced products, including coffees sourced from the FNC (Federacion Nacionale de Cafeteros de Colombia); Fairtrade products and Rainforest Alliance sourced tea and coffee.
