My favourite parts of my job are, that no day is ever the same as HR is constantly growing and changing, and the people; concepts and machinery can be copied, but the people are unique.

"It’s hard to condense 16 years, I started out packing in the multiroom when I was 16 straight from high school, I expected to stay here for 6 weeks to pay for my driving lessons, and 16 years later here I am as a Shift Manager at our Penny Lane site, however I’ve also managed a shift at our Dixon Close site.
On a normal day, I review the previous 24 hours performance, I put action plans in place to achieve our operational targets, I also look after our Hygiene team, who ensure the site is consistently kept to our extremely high standards.
I’m excited to be working on a project to reduce our impact on the environment, through changing the some of our PPE to more sustainable option.
The people make Aimia what it is, we are people orientated, we recognise people that can develop and help them to do this. We all work collaboratively; we know our end goal and what we want to achieve, and we do this together."

"I started my career at Aimia Foods in 2016 within a trade marketing role. After 16 months, my manager believed I had great aptitude within the digital side of my role and wanted to help me enhance my skills in this area.
Aimia invested in me to complete a digital marketing apprenticeship which helped to lay the foundation for my role today. The knowledge on offer was extremely practical and it’s helped me to completely reshape my career.
On completion of my course, I was promoted to Digital Marketing Manager. Today I’m leading the sales and marketing of our direct-to-consumer operation."
