As a nation, we’re nutty about nuts. We have them in brownies and cakes, in our pasta dishes, on top of hot drinks or straight out of the packet. The nut trend isn’t going anywhere, we simply can’t get enough!
Nut flavoured drinks are heavily featured on coffee shop menus up and down the country, we often see hazelnut hot chocolates, caramelised peanut frappes and macadamia iced lattes – there’s a nutty drink for everyone.
With nuts becoming the coffee shop norm, you need to make sure that you have a nutty drink or two on your menu, or maybe release some limited edition nut-themed drinks, switch it up for the season to keep your customers engaged, they’ll be interested to see what your next limited edition drink will be.
Try these nutty favourites:
Pistachio Hot Chocolate
Ingredients:
Hot water, Milfresh Instant Hot chocolate powder, Pistachio syrup, Whipped cream, Grated chocolate, Chopped pistachios
- Add 25g of hot chocolate powder to 200ml of hot water and stir until mixed
- Mix in 30ml of pistachio syrup
- Top with whipped cream
- Sprinkle grated chocolate and chopped pistachios on top
Toffee Nut Iced Latte
Ingredients:
Espresso, Milk, Toffee Nut Syrup, Ice
- Make up 2 shots espresso
- Fill your serving glass with ice
- Add 170ml of milk and 30ml of Toffee nut syrup to the glass
- Add your espresso to the glass
- Stir and enjoy!
